Obituary of Emilia Corso
Emilia Corso, “Millie”, God in his great mercy called his beloved Millie home to be with Him on May 19, 2011. Emelia was born June 1, 1923 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Felix and Constance Ryngiewicz. At the tender age of 16 she married John Corso in South Barre, Massachusetts. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2000.
They later resided for a time in Pompano Beach, Florida and Greenville, North Carolina, before retiring to Tucson in 1988.
Emilia was a loving wife of 61 years and devoted mother who lived her life in the service of her family. She leaves behind five children; Geraldine (Larry) Hester, Oro Valley, John (Linda) Corso, Jr. of Valencia, CA, Mary (John) Corso Gatlin, Anne (Clive) Corso both from Tucson and Joseph Corso of Portland, OR; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. One sister, Genevieve Superchi, Jupiter, FL and one brother, Justin Ryngiewicz also survives. She cherished her close relationship with Renee Hill and Sequoia Hill both of Tucson. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
