Obituary of Amanda Garcia

Amanda Othon Garcia, 72 Born September 26, 1938, passed away July 15, 2011 in Tucson Arizona. Amanda is preceded in death by her parents Jesus Maria and Maria Othon Garcia and 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son, Juan Gabriel Garcia, brother, Ramon (Blanca) Garcia, sisters Ernestina Garcia Figueroa and Norma Garcia Ramirez, brother in law, Arthur Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Amanda loved sewing, crocheting, crafting, cooking and baking. She enjoyed going to yard sales with her sisters and visiting with family and friends. She worked for the Bisbee School system for more than 20 years. In the past ten years she became very close to her great nephews and nieces. She was involved in their school and extracurricular activities. She taught them how to crochet and shared much of her wisdom with them. She was strong willed and nothing short of a warrior. She is and will always be deeply missed. We love you Tia, may you rest in everlasting peace in our creators place. Until we meet again.
