Edwin Loreto

Obituary of Edwin Eddie Loreto

Edwin “Eddie” Loreto was born in Torrance, Ca. His mother was Barbara Ann Cota, a beautiful, funny outgoing personality. Eddie and Barbara had a special bond, they would talk for hours on end. They loved each other very much. Barbara passed away on 9-26-08. I know in my heart and soul that they are together watching over all of us. Eddie is survived by his father Manuel Loreto, his wife Veronica Loreto, his children Kaylee, Micheal, Jennifer, Chris and Samantha. Eddie and I were married for 14 years. Eddie broke his neck four years ago and doctors told him that he would never walk again. But Eddie being Eddie didn’t accept that and was determined to beat the odds, which he did. After some healing he was back at riding his quads again and even helping his son rebuild his Buick Skylark. He was a very strong man and wanted to be here for me, his children and his grandchildren. They all gave him much joy and happiness that filled his heart with love. He loved his sisters, Diana and Celina, very much.He tried to be as active as possible but was in a lot pain towards the end, which took it’s toll. We always had our conversations in the morning about what’s going on in the world, the economy, local news, he was very into knowing what was going on in the world, I will miss that. Anyone that knew Eddie knew that he had a big heart and cared for his friends and family. He was a great husband and I loved his laugh, smile, his hypnotizing eyes and even his loudness. My life was Eddie and Kaylee. We loved each other unconditionally which I’m glad we got to experience with each other, and I’m glad he got the chance to experience that same kind of unconditional love with his children. He also loved my side of the family very much. He wanted to make everyone happy, which he did. We were very grateful to have him in our lives. Eddie will be missed so much that it hurts my heart and soul to see him gone. But, one thing that comforts me is that he is not in pain anymore. He is in heaven running, riding his quads and is with his mother, so with that I get some relief. May he rest in peace, we will miss you, but your family and I will never forget you.
