Obituary of Linda Gerhart

Linda Lea Gerhart Born on a beautiful winter day in Oildale, CA, January 19, 1949, Linda was awarded her angel wings on September 25, 2011. Linda was retired after a 30 year career in radiology. She was a member and officer of P.E.O. and the Order of Eastern Star. She was an avid reader and member of the Friends of Friends Book Club. Linda was a skillful and prolific quilter and loved hiking and camping, believing that being in natural settings put her close to God's goodness. Modest,gentle and unselfish,Linda will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Linda is survived by her husband,Ken Gerhart of Tucson;son,Master Sergeant Jeffrey Longacre (Laura) of Camp Pendleton, CA;sister,Cynthia J. Robertson(Mark)of Vernonia,OR;mother,Loretta "Minnie" Trader of North Plains,OR; granddaughter,Alicia Longacre Smith(Gib)and great-grandchildren,Landen and Cameron Smith of Palm Coast,FL and grandson,Ethan Longacre of Palm Coast,FL.
