Obituary of Lynette Silberschlag

Lynette D. Silberschlag, 76 of Tucson, AZ (formerly from Glen Ellyn, IL) passed away May 2, 2012 after a 2½ year courageous battle with lung cancer. She was a talented weaver/fiber artist and teacher of weaving. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Russell; 3 children Ron (Sue Zak), Nancy, Jan (Mark Hinds); 1 grandchild (Ethan Hinds); 7 nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, step-mother, mother and sister. It was her desire to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service on June 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Casa Adobes Church, 6801 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Lynn Silberschlag to Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) Fiber Trust of HGA Scholarship fund. (HGA-1255 Buford Highway, Suite 211, Suwanee, GA 30024). Donations will be listed in Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot magazine by donor (unless requested as anonymous), in the appropriate level or in an under $100 listing.
