Obituary of Michael Spartonos

Passed away suddenly on June 18, 2012 at the age of 53 after a life dedicated to serving others. Proudly served his country for 20 years as a United States Marine Corps officer, aviator, and Gulf War veteran. After retirement from the Corps in 2002, he served the Arizona community for 10 years as an EMS helicopter pilot, safely transporting hundreds of accident victims and patients in distress to care facilities. Mike loved God, family, country, corps, and community and never hesitated to help someone in need. His warmth and laughter will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise, his devoted daughter, Kelly, his parents Jerome and Joyce, his sister Linda and numerous family members, friends, and co-workers.
