Lynne D'Eredita

Obituary of Lynne D'Eredita

Lynne Taylor D’Eredita Lynne Marie Taylor D’Eredita was born on September 5, 1959 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Bob and Pauline (Riggin) Taylor. Surrounded by her loving family, she walked into the arms of Jesus on August 13, 2012, in Tucson Arizona. Lynne grew up all over the world, as she moved frequently with her military family, living in Okinawa, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Italy, and South Carolina, where she attended the University of South Carolina and met her husband, Richard D’Eredita. They started their family in Charleston, South Carolina with the birth of their sons David and Adam. They lived in Naples, Florida, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Omaha, Nebraska, before finally settling in Tucson, Arizona in 2006. Lynne always enjoyed meeting new people and made lifelong friends everywhere they lived. Lynne’s life was all about faith and family. Her husband and two boys were the center of her life, and she devoted her time and energy to supporting them. She was wholeheartedly involved in whatever they were involved with, especially sports when her boys were playing. Whether at the lake in Oklahoma or the beach in South Carolina, Lynne loved to plan reunions with family, where she enjoyed skiing, swimming, and playing games. She rarely missed a special event in her extended family, often traveling for holidays, graduations, and weddings. Even while juggling a demanding treatment schedule, she managed to squeeze in visits with family and friends, or to accompany her husband on business. She was able to make a trip of a lifetime with her husband to Italy in January to celebrate their anniversary. Over the past six years, Lynne has inspired countless people with her strength, courage and hope in the face of a fierce adversary. She fought cancer with all she had, and never let it steal her joy or faith. She was an active member of Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, and truly lived a life that glorified God and drew others to Him. Lynne is survived by Rick, her devoted husband of 27 years, her sons David (Chelsea) D’Eredita and Adam (Sara) D’Eredita, two grandchildren Austin and Avery. She is also survived by her parents Bob and Pauline Taylor of Tulsa, OK, sisters Vicki Lane of Brownstown, MI, Juli (Bobby) Armour of Tulsa, OK, and Katy (Chris) Ford of Piedmont, CA, her mother-in-law Joan Gotch of Columbia, SC, and a treasured extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved niece Leslie Anne Armour. A memorial service celebrating Lynne’s life will be held at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church on August 16, 2012 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Lynne D’Eredita Fountain Fund, c/o Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S Kolb Rd, Tucson, AZ 85710. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Dr Robert Brooks, Linda Moors and the staff of Arizona Oncology for their unwavering dedication and excellent care, the nurses and staff at The Peppi House for their gentle compassion, and to Touchpoint/Morrisons for their support.
