Obituary of Calvin Loggins

Calvin Richard Loggins 45, was born on October 31,1966 in Buffalo, New York. He was adopted with his brother Phillip at a young age by John and Verna Loggins. Calvin grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa. He was a very good swimmer and participated in swimming and ice skating in the special olympics winning 2 gold medals. As a child, he loved to go camping and fishing with his family. They traveled all over the country camping in the family motorhome. He worked various jobs in food service and had been working for the Canyon Ranch Resort in Tucson in housekeeping for many years. He recently had been reconnecting with his birth family and was very excited after meeting his youngest brother Brad Tefft and his family. They were able to have a reunion recently and Calvin was so happy to be accepted into Brads extended family. Family was very important to Calvin and he grew up with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He enjoyed family get togethers and was able to attend a family reunion in Mesa a few years ago. He was surrounded by wonderful friends and co-workers. He liked to dance, ride his bike and he had a passion for electronics and video games. He even attended a tech school for electronics in Mesa. He was a caring, loving young man who always wanted to help others and he will be greatly missed. Oh, please don't feel guilty It was just my time to go. I see you are still feeling sad, And the tears just seem to flow. We all come to earth for our lifetime, And for some it's not many years I don't want you to keep crying You are shedding so many tears. I haven't really left you Even though it may seem so. I have just gone to my heavenly home, And I'm closer to you than you know. Just believe that when you say my name, I'm standing next to you, I know you long to see me, But there's nothing I can do. But I'll still send you messages And hope you understand, That when your time comes to “cross over,” I'll be there to take your hand. –Author Unknown
