Obituary of Elizabeth Hurt

HURT, ELIZABETH “Betty” On October 3, 2012, Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Hurt (Anderson) age 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away quietly, following a long battle with cancer. Born April 10, 1938 in Batavia, IL.to Kenneth Anderson, a railroad engineer and Lucille Anderson, a beautician, she graduated from Batavia High School. She met and married Elbert F. Hurt in Lordsburg, NM, traveling with him throughout his Air Force career until he retired in Tucson, AZ, where they made their home. Betty is survived by her husband of 53 of years, her two children, Kenneth Hurt and Shelley (Hurt) McElhiney, her grandchildren, relatives and many friends. We love you and you will remain in our hearts forever.
