Obituary of Brian Kane

Brian Russell Kane, born Sept. 7, 1967 in Tucson, died suddenly in his home on Tues. March 19, 2013, of unknown causes. He is survived by his daughter, Jordan L. Kane, his mother, Dottie Anderson Kane, and stepmother Beth Kane, of Tucson, many cousins, aunts and uncles in Pa., and many lifelong friends. Brian has joined his dad and best friend, Richard L. Kane, who predeceased him on Oct. 30, 2012. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, hunting, and fishing, and his constant companion, his dog Suzy. He was a volunteer who helped maintain miles of trails in Arizona’s National Forests. In the 1980s, Brian served in the U.S. Navy on the LST USS Cayuga as Ship’s Diver. In 1991 Brian was called back to duty in support of Operation Desert Storm. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on April 13, 2013 at 410 E. Magee Rd. 10:00am.
