Obituary of Rosalie M. Coronado

Rosalie Majalca Coronado, Loving Mother and Dedicated Wife. Rosalie is survived by her husband Robert L. Coronado, her children, Raquel C. Pinter (Joseph), Daniel Corral (Christina), Elizabeth Galvez-Vargas (Juan) and Catherine M. Piura (Jesus). Rosalie was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rosalie is a life-long resident of Tucson, AZ, passed from natural causes on April 3rd 2019, at the age of sixty-six, in her home surrounded by family.

Rosalie was a very intelligent woman with several successful careers. She was an entrepreneur, horticulture technician, health club manager, aerobics instructor and weight trainer, proofreader, prep-school class aide, and data entry specialist. She was among the first female managers at the All-American Nautilus and her last job was an accountant for the City of Tucson.

Rosalie was adventurous and enjoyed jogging, hiking, long walks, swimming, camping, road trips and family vacations. Our mother had a love for adventure, which she experienced with her family and encouraged memorable events throughout the years. Mom also enjoyed listening to music on her record player as well as on the radio while she prepared family meals and enjoyed time by the pool. She was a passionate and practicing Catholic, whom enjoyed Sunday services at Our Lady of Fatima, where she was a long-held parishioner. Our mother’s deep religious beliefs followed her to her last days, where she sought comfort in the church and prayer. Mom lived life to the fullest, was devoted to her loving husband and children, whose legacy will live on through the precious memories held dear by her family.

Visitation will be Monday, April 8th, 2019 at Angel Valley Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. with the Rosary beginning at 5:00 p.m.  at the funeral home.
