I want to leave my condolence for Ken. I had the pleasure of meeting him by the way of bunny Fontana Sandy the pilot, and big Jim Griffith Loma, Betty and Joe Harris and others at the table at Little Mexico for breakfast . I had just known him for a short time but he did tell me a story about the M.J.B. Can that his cousin was Pouring coffee. and I have the can so I told him, still have the can to this day. By reading his obituary I believe he lived his lift to the fullest.

While I did not know Ken I wish I had done. It sounds like he was a great guy and will surely be missed at the ASDM. God speed Ken.

Sandy, just read your Dads obit, so well written and expressed, thank you, Mike, even though we’ve never met. Ken really did have an amazing life and contributed so much to our world, by the things he did and by example. I’ll never forget the times he came to stay with us in Sun Valley and when we were roommates in Encinitas. He was such a smart and witty man, and he and I got along really well (that dry humor!) He really had life figured out! I see so much of him in you, Sandy, his zest for life and involvement in so many things, sports wise and other. I was considering coming to the service, but it coincides with Megs graduation in Moscow. Love you so much and I’ll be in touch. RIP Ken.... xox

Our prayers and condolences to Ken's family. As we were involved with fiddlers, guitars, and all types of music for years, we spent considerable time with Ken and his family. RIP Ken.

Who could forget Ken, a fun loving guy with an incredible sense of humor, yet serious
& reflective when appropriate. Met him at the Weiser fiddle contest several times, he picked
me up at the Boise airport one year. What a time we had. When I moved to Tucson in '92,
we had many more opportunities to chat & to play music, I would visit whenever I could
altho not often enough as I had a working wife & 3 young ones making it difficult to get
away. After moving to New England in '97, our get togethers understandably became less
frequent altho when I visited Phx to see my sisters, I made a point of driving to Tucson more than once to see him. Reconnecting was a blast each time. Altho it may be trite, I do think
of my friend often & the friendship we shared. Marshall Racowsky

Ken and I spent many hours laughing together and playing music. His dry wit will not soon be forgotten. Not exactly sure when I first met Ken but I am certain it was at a fiddling event of some kind. He will be missed greatly by me and many others.

I met Ken at a fiddling contest in T or C, NM (circa mid 90s). Could tell right away he was a really good musician and somewhat of a wit!! In 2003, I met my lil Honey, Sharon. In 2004, we were passing the week in Tucson after the Safford contest, awaiting the Tucson contest. Ken invited us out to the museum. He showed us the area where he did his volunteer work......very interesting. Later that year we ran into him up in Weiser. While jamming outside his motor home, a gully washer hit and luckily everyone just went inside the motorhone and kept jamming.
We last got to jam and visit with Ken (Boom on the Bass) at Darwin Long's home in Tucson in 2014.....
We thought the world of Ken.......Larry & Sharon Nogle-Hoots, Aztec, NM
