Obituary of Dymong J Phothong

We have gathered to remember the life of Dymong “Junior” Phothong to celebrate how much he meant to us. We would like to thank everyone for joining us this morning to celebrate his life and comfort one another during this difficult time.

Junior was best known for how incredibly bright and talented he was at everything he put his mind to. He was involved in several clubs such as the National Honor Society, Spanish, and a CTE Ambassador while also taking AP Classes. Junior loved school so much that he rarely missed it and if he ever had to he would become extremely upset. Junior took school so seriously and often when he would do any projects he would go all out. If you haven’t seen his Spanish project yet we’d love to show you what we mean, and through these types of projects he often became his teacher’s favorite student.

While we all may have so many stories of Junior, most of them will contain how confident he was in all he did. Whether it was when he was preparing for extremely difficult AP tests that he thought were incredibly easy, or when he told all his friends that he would make Michelle love him one day. His confidence always remained.

Although Junior was with us for such a short time he has left such an impact on all our lives and is a hero to so many. We will always remember how smart and techy Junior was, his infectious laugh that so many of us love to mimic, and how kind he was to take care of those in need.

Junior always put everyone else before himself and in death will continue to do so as he was able to give life to three individuals through organ donation. This is how we would like everyone to remember Dymong “Junior” as the smart, confident, and kind hero he was to us all.
