Matthew Joseph Ruiz “Matt”

Born in Los Angeles, California to my loving grandma Maria Dominguez and grandpa Joe Ruiz on August 9th, 1969.

Matthew Joseph Ruiz passed away unexpectedly May 20th, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona.

My Dad had the freest spirit he was kind and funny, Truly young at heart. He loved to cook and taught me those skills. He adored dogs and the beach. My dad spoke gently no matter what age I was he called me baby girl and that is how I will remember him as my Dad.

He leaves behind his mom Maria Dominguez, Big Sister Maria Applegate, Big Brother Michael Ruiz, Daughter Monique Ruiz and grandchildren Isaha Ruiz-Vega, Kassiel Ruiz-Leon, and Emilia Ruiz-Leon, and many loving Nephews and Nieces.

Preceded in death by dad Joe Ruiz and loving Big Brother Philip Ruiz
