Obituary of Mitchell Ross French

Mitchell Ross French 1/19/67-10/22/21

Mitchell passed away October 22, 2021, after a courageous battle that included 10 surgeries following a massive heart attack. 

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Melissa; children, Tyler and Lily; parents, Larry and Sheryl French; sibling, Kristen (Tom); aunts, Marsha (Alan) Giles, Mary (Bob) Williams; goddaughter, Lauren (John) Rudy; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

After graduating from Cholla High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he trained as a machinist. He moved back to Tucson, Arizona, after being Honorably Discharged and tried to make a career utilizing his new skills. However, his natural ability for storytelling made him a perfect salesman and he would spend the next 30 years making friends in the automotive industry and most recently in the remodeling industry.

He was loved by all but mostly his Lily bug, when they looked at each other the sparkle in their eyes could light up a room. He was dedicated to his family, friends and work and accepted every challenge with an unbridled determination. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, guns, golfing, and cooking for family and friends. 

His endless stories, big hugs and mouth-watering meals will never be forgotten.

Mitchell did not want a memorial service but would be ok with a final BBQ party. The details are to be determined.
