Obituary of Margaret Sara Sandoval

Margaret Sara Sandoval

Margaret, born April 17, 1942, died peacefully on November 14, 2022.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 44 years Samuel, daughter Christy Noriega (David), son Richard Sandoval (Luz), son Ray Sandoval (Atika), sister JoAnn Vargas-Ray (Ron), brother David Vargas (Ruth), her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loving extended family members and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her beautiful daughter Linda, her miscarried sweet baby daughter, and her parents Joe and Rose Vargas.

Margaret was the light, the center, and the strongest friend, advocate, and supporter of her family. She shared her beautiful smile, laughed with such sweetness, and gave us all the softest hand to hold, the warmest hugs, and greeted everyone with her kind spirit. It was common to hear her sewing machine hum into the wee early morning hours while she sewed an outfit or put together a costume for one of her children or grandchildren. Or maybe it was to create a quilt for a family or friend. She loved looking through catalogs, reading, playing games, and spending time with her family. Margaret missed a calling as a preschool or elementary teacher as she absolutely loved caring for and teaching babies, toddlers, and young children. We will miss our sweet Margaret deeply!

Our family would like to thank Primary Care NP Dottie Tucker, Dr. Teh-Li Huo, Spring Days Adult Care Home staff and Casa de la Luz Palliative Care and Hospice staff for their wonderful support and care. We would like to thank Pastor David Fife for his friendship and officiating the services to be held on December 8, 2022 @ 09:30 a.m. in the Angel Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Donations may be made in honor of Margaret to the Roots and Roads Foundation https://rootsandroads.org/.
