Obituary of Jimmie Robert Herington

Jimmie Robert Herington, 77, of Muleshoe, TX, passed away on November 22, 2023, in Tucson, AZ. Jimmie was born on May 15, 1946, to Willie and Elsie Herington and was the eldest brother to Larry, Richard, Melody, and Marji. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years.

Jimmie adored children, especially his own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He brought joy and laughter to their lives and cherished every moment spent with them.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, daughter-in-law Nicole (James), daughter Penny (Rusty), and his son Phil; as well as his grandchildren Tabitha, Marissa, Teya, Michael, and Dylan, and great-grandchildren Jude & JimmieLee. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard, and his eldest son James.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His dedication and service to his country in the US Air Force will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.
