Hello, I am a volunteer in Tucson and send my condolences to your whole family. I wanted to share a few Bible verses that give us hope and comfort. It was never Gods plan for us to die and he promises in Acts 24:15 a resurrection of those we have lost. Soon he will replace this system of things and all our suffering with his kingdom and blessings as stated in Revelation 21:3,4. As we read the Bible and learn the real condition of our lost loved ones we know Robert is in his memory and he will have the resurrection hope due to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. You can read these verses in your copy of the Bible for more comfort. 1Corinthians 15:20-23, John 11:5-44.

We will miss Bob, but he is with his beloved Helen now. We all had our turn. He took care of us all when he could. We called him "the Mayor of Sunnywood Estates". We thanked him for his service in the Air Force and his service to the neighborhood. He was a proud man and had many accomplishments to be proud of. Rest in peace, Bob - you had a wonderful life and we are blessed to have been part of it. Nancy and Ed

Bob was a great friend to me. He assisted me on several lite jobs. We enjoyed swapping storys b4 and after his health declined. His faith in Jesus gained strength he is now at rest with the Lord which gives me comfort. We will miss his kindness cooperation and friendship. I'm glad you were a part of my life.

We are so sad to learn of the passing of our beloved neighbor, Bob Hawks. Bob was the unofficial Sunnywood Estates neighborhood goodwill ambassador, always happy to meet new people and make them feel welcome. Our kids loved him and he loved them too. He has the best stories of airline life, and that was great for me as a pilot's son. We will especially miss him on the 4th of July, as he was the organizer of our neighborhood family parade. It was not the same without him to join us. May he rest in peace!

Bob, we knew you as the World's Greatest Neighbor who was always ready to help in any way possible. You took care of all of us and we are better for having known you. You'll be missed every day as a truly special, caring, dependable, individual who served his Nation and community. We love you.
