Although I never met your husband/father, I knew him to be a man of character because of his beautiful family. Pat, you came to us when we needed an organist at First United Methodist Church, and your precious children were so special in my teaching career. How I would love to be able to physically reunite with you all. Know that I hold each of you in prayer as you travel this difficult road, especially at this time of year. Thank you for all the good memories.

My sincere condolences to Mrs. Leege, Kurt, and the rest of the family. Dr. Leege was the head of our Notre Dame London group in the spring of 1983, and I have such fond memories of him both in and out of the classroom. His zest for learning was contagious! May many happy memories be of great comfort in this difficult time. Tonia (Hap) Murphy

Pat, I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was an exceptional person, and I respected him and his and your contributions to the Camera Club in Green Valley. I appreciate it so much you’re sharing your travels and knowledge with us.
Blessings and peace be with you.

For about a year, I was part of a small group of men who met at La Posada in Sahuarita/Green Valley in the living room of a retired preacher. David was part of the group and I never failed to learn something from him.
I was humbled and thrilled that he wrote several pieces for our small-town newspaper given his background. His intellect was only surpassed by his compassion and kindness. It's a rare person who is gifted with heaping amounts of all three, and he freely shared.
What a blessing to cross paths with him in this life and to look forward to seeing him in the next.
